The Alliance Defending Freedom is an American legal organization whose purpose is “to defend religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family.” The ADF has been involved in several high-profile court cases, including the successful defense of Hobby Lobby in the 2014 Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. case before the United States Supreme Court.
