John Savignano is also a writer who continues in his family tradition of writing art criticism. Besides having published art articles on numerous websites, he has had articles published in arts journals such as “The Brooklyn Rail” and “Artslant”.
In addition to his CPA practice, John also serves as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University and Nazareth College. John Savignano is also a Certified Intellectual Property Coach (ICPC) and holds a B.A. degree in Religious Studies from St. John’s University in Queens, NY.

John Savignano has co-authored the book “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Corporate Finance for Startups and Small Companies.” He is also the author of the book, “Successful Bookkeeping: Simple Steps to Managing Your Business” (2011).” John has illustrated the following works of art:

Savignano is a practicing Catholic who has been active in the pro-life movement and has opposed efforts to legalize abortion. In addition, Savignano was an amateur boxer who fought as a heavy weight in the NY Golden Gloves Championships.
Savignano has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island City Society for Independent Artists, and is currently Vice Chair of its Education Committee. He also serves as Treasurer of the Queens Pride House and is active in fundraising for various charities.
