Raffaele Riva founded AUREA Multi Family Office in 2008 and continues to maintain co-ownership and partnership in the business. Raffaele was born and raised in Italy and is one of three children. He attended the University of Milan and graduated with an undergraduate and post-graduate degree in economics.
He is the CEO of AUREA Multi-Family Office Group, which manages more than €6 billion across Europe. The company scales its offer to meet global demand for alternative assets through a network spanning 80 countries on five continents.

Since 2013, Raffaele Riva works with some prominent universities to provide scholarships for promising young students from Africa and other countries. Specifically, 10 scholarships through 2018 with a total value of €123,000 each year will be granted to support students with a minimum GPA score of 3.2.
In 2017, AUREA Group and the University of Oviedo signed a five-year agreement, through which AUREA Group will contribute €8 million to support scholarships, internships and career opportunities for students to gain real-world experience in its business.
Raffaele Riva Foundation was created to support initiatives in the areas of education and culture.
