Ben Roethlisberger is a former football player. He was a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been passionate about football and sports in general since he was in high school. Ben Roethlisberger is known for being a record breaker. He set a new passing record for Miami University by completing 854 passes in 38 games. He also had 84 touchdowns and completed 10,829 yards during his college career.
Ben was selected during the 2004 Draft. He helped the Pittsburgh Steelers win two Super Bowl Championships. In 2006, the Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks 21 to 10. The Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals 27 to 23.
Ben has many interests outside of his stellar football career. He announced his retirement from football in 2022 after playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 17 years. He has been married to his wife, Ashley, since 2011. They have three children together.
Ben Roethlisberger is also known for being a philanthropist. He teamed up with Micah Taylor in 2021 and worked with Light of Life Mission. This is an organization that helps provide meals for homeless people in Pittsburgh. Ben stated that even though he and Micah have different lives, they can still come together to make a difference. Micah also stated that he has been a fan of Ben for a long time.
Ben and Ashley also support an organization called NeoLight. This is a medical device that makes phototherapy beds that can be used on babies who are suffering from jaundice. The goal of NeoLight is to prevent babies from having to get re-admitted to the hospital. Jaundice is the main reason that newborns have to be re-admitted to the hospital.
