In the state of Minas Gerais, in the capitol city Belo Horizonte, Felipe Montoro Jens has reports on a 20 year public lighting project. The Belo Horizonte projects is to upgrade all 182,000 public lights from the older luminary lighting system to LED light. This Belo Horizonte is the largest public private partnership project in history on this scale. It has been reported by Felipe Montoro Jens the government company Infraero is going to auction off about 13 airports scheduled for the end of 2018. Infraerois responsible for managing all of the major airports in the country, and by auctioning some of these airports will help reduce the budget of the federal government. The City of Rio de Janeiro is focusing on improving it’s child education network. They are doing it through a program called Public – Private Partnership (PPP). According to the specialist in Projects of Infrastructure, Felipe Mantoro Jens, several thousand jobs with daycare centers and pre-schools will become available by the end of 2020. In addition, all educational equipment services will be improved significantly.

It’s model is based on an agreement between public administration and private partners. These entities may include the State, the Federal District, as well as partners in the private sector.
